Based on examples from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Augusta Auctions, fashion plates and the 1995 film of Sense and Sensibility. This lovely open weave bonnet is made with fine decoratively woven straw in a wonderfully fun black & wheat color combination. It is great for summer since it is lightweight and sheer, and has a lovely delicate aesthetic
