1950s Jaeger-LeCoultre Powermatic Cal. 481 Regatta Yachttimers By the hands of GeraldReleased in 1948, Jaeger LeCoultre launched the Powermatic cal. 481 and it was the first wristwatch with a power reserve indicator, featuring 17 Jewels, 18000 A h and 40 hours power reserve. Notable for its complex faceted spider lugs named after the resemblance of the silhouette of an arachnid, the Jaeger LeCoultre Powermatic was offered in a wide array of configurations. The present example dated early 1950s is preserved in excellent condition.
