Domaine de Montille, Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru, 2021 (Case) Campbeltown Subtle mouthfeel

Subtle mouthfeel

dominated by ripe tropical fruits and balanced by a lovely mineral structure

ripe black cherries overlaid with vanilla and herbs

with notes of yeast and fresh bread

with some balsamic notes and a toasted background

Domaine de Montille, Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru, 2021 (Case) Campbeltown Subtle mouthfeelOn the nose, the Corton Grand Cru Clos du Roi is showing aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, burning embers, grilled squab, black truffle and rich soil tones. On the palate, it is full bodied, deep and concentrated, with an elegantly muscular chassis of powdery tannins, lively acids, and a long, resot finish.
