Ashby Coffee Table-Rectangle Coffee Tables earthy aestheticThe starting point for this table was the idea of taking familiar craftsmanship and presenting it in a quieter, more contemporary way. The stepped legs reference traditional joinery, while the broad square top and clean proportions give the piece a more modern presence. We chose burl veneer for the tabletop because it introduces subtle movement without overwhelming the design.
