Rooted in a deep connection to nature, her practice evolved from nature photography and studies in traditional Chinese flower arrangement and Japanese Ikebana. Using real flowers, grass, and leaves, Yang explores memory, identity, and belonging through processes of preservationrecording nature through sunlight, time, and careful touch. Her
