Beyond the chimney pots of cottages nestled above Porthminster beach, seagulls swirl above the pier lighthouse and the town full of victorian charm rises above the sand. Even on a grey day, this place has an undeniable brightness. My focus in this piece was to bring all the ingredients that make St Ives so special into one composition.
