Embroidered by us in our studio in Ireland - we use the best threads and "real gold" metallics (tricky to work with but they do give the best results)

Fully lined in a vintage Swiss folk cotton to add a little colour surprise to the bag

We design the embroidery ourselves, based on an original medieval drawing. The embroidered grass and flowers takes their inspiration from Jacobean crewel work embroidery. We stitch the embroidery ourselves in our studio in Ireland and it's really sumptuous and feels very special. The bag can be used with or without the matching handmade velvet wrist
