Original painting "The Gods Within", oil on canvas, 18" x 36" small painting She is figurative yet notOriginal oil painting by Liz Vaughn. "The Gods Within". When in doubt, keep throwing things at it until it works out. This one was definitely a wild ride on the creative rollercoaster! I started out experimenting with spray paint, and then moved on to acrylic, oil and mixed media pens. Oh the many stages a painting can go through, some of those phases even considered to be "ugly" or so difficult you might want to abandon the effort all together.
