New Haven on one side of the box. The other side is marked Patented May 5, 1863 June 7, 1864. The box measures4 1 2"h x 3 1 2"w. The doorknob hole and keyhole are aligned. This is a vertical mounting lock box. 2 3 4" backset. The latch is reversible if you flip the whole internal box with the latch attached. The lock has an additional security lock
