Humidity, bird pressure, lack of dry weather, and the sun made 2021 a tougher than usual vintage. Our reds crawled to the finish line regarding ripeness seeing us still picking in early Mayhowever, plenty of this created spice in those later picked reds. Bright berry flavours and mixed spices are the hallmarks of Shiraz from this vintage.
