Crossroads CofC near CharlestonCrossroads This was created as a Spoleto poster in 1990, the year after Hurricane Hugo hit Charleston, SC. The title is appropriate because the shadows cast on the road by the Spoleto flags form a cross. This particular year was referred to as a crossroad for the Spoleto Festival. A gold sphere usually sets on top of the steeple but was damaged by Hurricane Hugo. It has since been repaired and replaced.
