Maximin Grunhaus, Estate, `Grunhauser` Ortswein Mosel Riesling Trocken, 2023 (Case) Case of 4 x 75cl complex wine with aromas redolentThe dry `Grunhauser` opens with ripe Riesling fruit character together with herbal spiciness and green tea notes. The palate is best described by green apple flavours, ripe lemon, quince, and pineapple with a long lasting saltiness making it a prime example of the concept of minerality in wine. This wine shows a beautiful balance in its youth, but it can nonetheless develop over decades.
