Point Picquet is near Meelup Beach and was named after an explorer Sub Lieutenant Picquet. The ocean here is a stunning and clear turquoise blue and is enough to entice most people for a swim. This location is also a lookout point for migrating whales that pass by in close range to the shoreline. There is an array of orange coloured rock here which contrasts beautifully against the white
