Paper Moon Lamp 01 - The Egg vintage stitching yarn: silverJapanese manufacturer Asano delicately handcrafts each lamp in the Gifu prefecture in Japan, using high grade Washi paper and a spiral rib of bamboo. The process involves wrapping the bamboo around a wooden form and then glueing and applying each panel separately until the entire surface has been papered: a laborious and highly skilled endeavor. The lamp adds an organic Wabi Sabi design component to any interior while providing a subtle warm glow.
