Junction Pelly & Hootalinqua Rivers, 1898 People; Entertainment Photograph of a line ofPhotograph of a camp set up at the junction of two rivers. Caption: Junction Pelly & Hootalinqua Rivers. The Teslin River was known for a while as the Hootalinqua River and it empties into the Yukon River. The Pelly River also empties into the Yukon River about 150 miles downriver from the mouth of the Teslin River. This camp is probably set up at the junction of the Yukon River and another river.
