It is propelled through the shallow waters of the delta or river by standing in the stern and pushing with a pole, in the same manner as punting. Used for fishing, reed harvesting, transporting people, goods and even small livestock it was effectively the cart of the Delta. This canoe has been planted up by our team with an abundance of low maintenance
